Discover the Facts of Pravcicka Brana, Czech Republic! Why it's important Tourist Attraction?
The Czech Republic is known for its beauty and intrigue, from pretty castles like Hluboká Castle to haunting catacombs. The country even ranks as one of the most beautiful spots in Eastern Europe in fall (and every other season, too). But one unique attraction has earned the attention of travelers from all around the world: a gigantic natural arch.
The largest natural arch in Europe is the Pravčická brána or Pravčická Gate in the Czech Republic. The 86-foot-long Pravčická Gate is impressive and one of the most stunning attractions in Central Europe. Explore the Pravčická Gate — but don't get too close!
The Pravčická brána or Pravčická Gate has a span of 26.5 meters or 86 feet and a height of 16 meters or 52 feet. The arch itself has a maximum width of 8 meters or 26 feet. It is one of the top attractions in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains of the Czech Republic and is a national nature monument.

Height: 16 Meters or 52 Feet
Like other arches around the world, the Pravčická arch has been gradually eroded and formed over millions of years of weathering.
As with other arches, this process continues, and it will weather until it one day collapses. Other natural attractions include wild gorges, rock towers, gates, walls, and ravines. The Edmund and Wild Gorges are located in the area and are worth exploring.
Today, the Pravčice Gate is a symbol of the Bohemian region of the Czech Republic (perhaps something similar to how the Delicate Arch is a symbol of Utah).
