.    image Courtesy: Pinterest The Onge are  an indigenous ethnic group of people who live in the Andaman Islands of India . They are one of the oldest tribes in India and are part of the Negrito racial stock. The Onge are semi-nomadic hunter-gatherers who are dependent on nature for food.   Lifestyle: The Onge are traditionally hunter-gatherers and fishers. They also practice plant cultivation.   They are non-vegetarian and eat the flesh of various animals like deer, pig, fox, rat, snake, turtle, and bird.   They also eat fish and shells.   They use arrows and harpoons with a float for turtle and large fishes.   They use nets to catch small fishes.   They use digging sticks to dig roots.   They use adzes to obtain molluses and cut honey comb.   Culture: The Onge have a simple animist religion.   They believe in different classes of spirits, including spirits of the wood, sea, disease, storm, and ance...
