IIT Bombay Research Internship Awards 

The IITB Research Internship Award offers a valuable educational and professional research experience. These awards are tailored for specific research projects, with project details provided to candidates for them to choose projects aligned with their interests. This approach allows candidates to prepare thoroughly for a rigorous selection procedure. The number of interns will correspond to the number of available projects, ensuring a focused and meaningful experience for each participant.

Eligibility: Candidates should be enrolled in the second year of a Master's programme or the third/fourth year of a Bachelor's programme. The field of study should align with the project requirements specified by IIT Bombay Faculty (Internship Guide). Their ranking should be among the top 10% of students in all previous academic years within your discipline at your College/University/Institute. A certificate from the Principal (in the prescribed format) verifying this achievement must be submitted during the application process. Candidates should have full-time student status at the time of application and throughout the duration of the internship. If their academic calendar requires them to submit a partial project report before the completion of the internship (e.g., in April for an internship ending in June), they must obtain prior consent from the Internship Guide. Students should be able to commit to full-time work for the duration of the internship. Part-time internships are not permitted. They must submit a certificate confirming that there are no coursework requirements during the internship period at the time of application.

Duration: The internship will last for a period of four to six months, scheduled between December and June.

Stipend: A fixed stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month will be provided.

Shortlisting	Shortlisting is under process and will be updated shortly by 26.10.2023
Dates for Interview	30th October, 2023 - 07th November, 2023
Selection Process	Results will be declared by 1st week of December
Joining of Internship	8th - 15th January, 2024
Duration of Internship	Duration will be minimum four months to maximum six months from the date of joining.
