What are the 10 most beautiful places in the world and how assessment has been carried out?

Introduction

The world is full of beautiful places that most of us don’t even know about. From breath-taking waterfalls and jaw-dropping natural wonders to mysterious lost cities and quaint landmarks, you’re never short on things to see or do.

Shortlisting the 10 most beautiful places in the world is certainly not easy, and visiting all those beautiful places that this planet has to offer could take a lifetime, possibly more. However, we’ve shortlisted a few attractions that should always be close to the top of your bucket list, for each destination is an experience to be savored, a moment you’re sure to cherish throughout your life.

There are plenty of lists of beautiful places of the world but they’re usually subjective. Britain-based travel company Kuoni recently put science to work to make an official ranking of the world’s most beautiful travel destinations. The company’s eye-tracking study analyzed the world’s most well-known natural wonders. The goal: to rank the locations that are most attractive to the human eye, thereby qualifying them as the most beautiful travel destinations in the world.

2. How beauty of a tourist place is measured?

As civilization has grown, many nations and areas have seen a rise in tourism as a major source of economic growth. Tourism is flourishing, and the government is increasingly appreciating its contribution to economic growth and job creation. Tourism consumption demand has risen much more. Internet of Things, cloud computing, and mobile intelligent agents have all contributed to the rise of intelligent tourism. Destination images are formed by people’s thoughts, feelings, and opinions about a destination, as well as their views of social, political, economic, cultural, and other variables in that location.

The tourist industry is now thriving, and the government is increasingly appreciating its contribution to economic growth and job creation. Many challenges in the growth of tourism can be solved with the advancement of computer artificial intelligence technologies. When planning a trip, people have a lot of choices to make, including where they want to go, how long they want to spend there, and what form of transportation they want to use. The most important choice is where they want to go on vacation. Operational research approaches, supermarket tourism routing architecture, and theme tourism route architecture are currently the primary methodologies used by several tourist organizations. Tourist route design should be taken into account while establishing market-oriented tourism routes.

In sum and substance, the data related to some of the following points are considered for deciding the beauty of a place and ranked statistically are:

  • No of Visitors per year
  • Duration of stay
  • Facilities available
  • Connectivity
  •  Significance of the place
  • Initiatives for development
  • Weather
  • Safety
  • Affordability
The other parameters are also considered like Attraction, Accommodation, Accessibility, Amenities, Activities, Affinity, Actors, and Acts.

1. Mount Fuji, Japan

Mount Fuji, Japan

Standing 3,776.24 metres tall, Mount Fuji is Japan’s highest mountain, and its active volcano is one of the country’s most recognisable icons. The mountain is a UNESCO-recognised cultural site to which pilgrims of all sorts have streamed for millennia, and you should join them!

2. Positano, Italy

Known for its world-class hotels and iconic pastel buildings, Positano is one of the most charming villages on the Amalfi Coast—and in the world. The numerous shops across the cliff celebrate the craftsmanship of Italian ceramicists, painters, and textile designers. The best part may just be that almost every cafe and hotel comes with idyllic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

3. Machu Picchu, Peru

Perched in the Andes Mountains stands the most important discovery from the ancient Inca Empire, Machu Picchu. The imposing citadel along with various structures throughout the 5-mile site are thought to be remnants of either a royal estate for Inca nobles or a religious center. Getting to the site in the mountains is no easy task as it requires quite a hike at a high elevation, but views are unlike anything you'll ever see in your life.

4. Meeru Island, Maldives:

This dreamy bucket-list destination is only accessible by boat and is home to just one luxurious resort that has beach and overwater villas. “It’s easy to see why this destination was the most eye-catching beach, with crystal clear blue waters and white sands—it really does look like it’s in paradise.

5.Lake Tekapo, New Zealand:

Lake Tekapo is fed by snow melt from the Southern Alps, which gives the water a distinctive turquoise tint. “Lake Tekapo is also one of the sunniest places in New Zealand, with an average of 2,400 sunshine hours per year.

6. Puerto Princesa Underground River, Philippines:

This otherworldly underground river has rich biodiversity and impressive cave systems. “The cavern itself features eye-catching rock formations and visitors are able to experience the stunning surroundings up close and personal

7. Iguazu Falls:

Set on the Brazil-Argentina-Paraguay border, Iguazu Falls is one of the world’s most stunning natural attractions.

9. Lake Matheson, New Zealand:

The view of Mount Cook and Mount Tasman reflected in New Zealand’s Lake Matheson helped put this location on the list.

10. Salar De Uyuni, Bolivia

Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia

Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni is such an otherworldly landscape it was one of the locations used in the filming of Star Wars: the Last Jedi. It can also be seen in movies such as the Fall, Salt and Fire, and the Unseen. Its unique atmosphere is due to the fact that it is the largest salt flat in the world. It covers an incredible 10,000 square kilometres at 3,656 metres above sea level.

What Next...?

In conclusion, this is a wonderful economic contribution to today’s economy. It is a great way for people to spend their money and for cities to attract other people. In doing so, cities across the world attract millions of dollars just so foreigners get the chance to experience life in a new place. I hope to do much travelling myself because I believe it to be a wonderful way of living life to the fullest. Experiencing culture, religion, foods, sports, entertainment shows, and general ways of life in a new place is a great way to live life to the fullest. I one day hope I could open a hotel chain myself and attract many visitors to new cities.

I want to travel the world and once I am free of the responsibility of raising children I want to spend two consecutive years just travelling the world. I want to see all of Europe, and get to know a lot of South America and Asia.

During my retirement I hope to use all the wealth I obtained in my life by helping out the less fortunate. I am always disappointed and down-hearted after hearing of African mall-nutrition or weak relief efforts after catastrophes like Hurricane Katrina. I think my most useful goal is to one day start a program where those with needs get it from those with too many goods that have been taken for granted.
